ANNUAIRE ROUMAIN D’ANTHROPOLOGIE – ROMANIAN YEARBOOK OF ANTHROPOLOGY publishes original research and reviews of anthropology covering paleoanthropology (human osteology, bioarchaeology, forensic anthropology, and paleopathology), bio-medical anthropology (auxology, behavioral ecology, epidemiology, medical anthropology, nutrition, and population biology), social and cultural anthropology (ethnology, ethnography, linguistics, social change, and traditional medicine), anthropological ethics and methodology, and overlapping areas. The publishing languages are English or French, with an English-written abstract. 

The calendar of the next number will be announced on this website and by e-mail.

The process of manuscript evaluation/ revision generally takes a period of two months after the submission deadline.

• Peer-review   Since 2009 Annuaire Roumain d'Anthropologie is a fully peer-reviewed journal.

• Copyright Statement by the authors: 

„By submitting my paper in order to be published in the journal Annuaire Roumain d’Anthropologie, I certify it has not been previously published in another journal or book, and that the same article/ text is not currently in the process of analysis and revision for publishing.”

• Manuscript format  The authors must strictly adhere to the rules for content and style  in order to speed-up the review process. 

• Manuscript submission and further information should be addressed to any of the journal's editors by email of by printed correspondence. Electronic submission of manuscripts is preferred.
